THE ART ROOM IN SCHOOLS
TK-8 Art Curriculum
The Art Room is now designing arts curriculum for schools within the East LA area. We’re working with schools, and their foundations, to re-implement arts curriculum that has been cut over the last few decades. Together, we’re creating curriculum that helps guide children, TK-8, in learning about artists, the elements of art, and how to have fun with arts in The Art Room.
Professional Development for Teachers:
We are also working with schools to provide much needed PDs for teachers based on the needs and desires of the school. We have created PDs in ceramics and how to use a kiln, using watercolors and crayons, setting up an art space/cart, art materials that last… just ask, we’ve got you!
