2024 SUMMER ART CAMPS

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Art camps are a great time to explore new media, learn new art and clay techniques, and join in on the fun and sun that summer has to offer. New collaborative camps include making works of art that are part of a grander piece- They are a perfect choice for learning social + collaborative skills! Pick a week, or two, grab some friends, and come join us for our clay and mixed-media adventures.

Week 7: July 29- August 2 Clay and Sculpture Camp

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS: 

Mixed Media  and creative arts

Camp designed for kids who love to explore the arts through different media each day.

  • Camp T-shirt Tie Dye Design

  • Hand-building with clay + glazing (all works will be fired during the week)

  • Science with Watercolors! (watercolor resist and play techniques)

  • Canvas painting + Collage

  • Print-making using foam boards

  • Friday: End of Week art show for Parents 20 minutes prior to end of class!

COLLABORATIVE ARTS CAMP

Camp designed for social + collaborative development. We’ll work together to create collaborative works of art using all types of media and still be able to take home individual creations!

  • Camp T-shirt tie-dye design

  • Clay Communities (all works will be fired during the week)

  • Recyclable Arts + building with cardboard

  • Mural Painting

  • Collaborative collage + Painting

  • Friday: End of Week art show for Parents 20 minutes prior to end of class!

 Clay and sculpture

Camp designed for kids who love clay and building with their hands. We’ll make lots of clay creations and build bigger creations!

  • Hand-building with clay + glazing (all works will be fired during the week)

  • Camp t-shirt design

  • Cardboard Creations + building techniques

  • Papier Mache creations

  • Yarn + Wood Sculpture designs

  • Friday: End of Week art show for Parents 20 minutes prior to end of class!

TEEN CAMP (8th-12th)

Designed for all TEENS. Best to have experience with drawing

  • Live drawing from models daily (wearing costumes)

  • Camp t-shirt design

  • Clay + Wheel throwing

  • Focus on Large scale painting with acrylics and watercolors
