Adult Ceramics

2 different types of classes for 2 different skill levels.

Mixed Wheel

Join us for 6 weeks of learning about throwing clay on the wheel! Throwing is a complicated sport, but practice really does bring results!

We’ll learn about making simple shapes, mugs and handles, and plates, as well as glazing techniques. Cost includes all materials like clay, glaze, and kiln firings.

Cost: $270 for 6 classes ($45 each)

Open Studio

For potters with experience

Tuesday: 7-9PM (Studio Tech: Jenna)
Wednesday: 7-9PM (Studio Tech: TK)
Thursday: 7-9PM (Studio Tech: TK)

Adult Hand-Building Course
$270.00

Adult open studio class is considered studio time for potters. Instructors are present to guide and answer questions, but not teach. You are free to use clay tools, wheels, and space to store art projects. Fees also include glazes and all firing services.

COST OF STUDIO TIME: $125/5 continuous weeks
COST OF CLAY: $30-40 a bag

Must have pottery experience or have taken beginner’s Hand-building class.

Glaze + Kiln Services

Glaze and Kiln Services:

Need a place to glaze or fire your ceramics or a library of glazes to choose from? We got you!

  • Your clay and glazes must be between Cone 04-Cone 5.

  • Please make sure to double check your clay and glaze compatibility.

  • We do need to know your clay body and glazes at the time of drop off.

  • All pieces must also be wiped on the bottom and running glazes should be at least 3/4 inch from the bottom

Kiln Run:
Full Load: $50 per run (bisque + glaze are separate)
Half Load: $25 per run (bisque + glaze are separate)

Have a pieces or two? $2 per piece, per firing!

Glaze Services:
Want to use our glazes? Just find a time during open studio to drop in and pay $2 per piece for glazing.
